THE CITY OF HADERA

Hadera was established in 1891 as a farming colony that evolved into the 5th largest thriving city in Israel, jurisdiction and land combined. Located in Haifa district along 5 miles of the Israeli Mediterranean Coastal Plain. The city's urban core is about 13,097 acres with a 2017 census-estimated population of 100,000 residents, consists of 30% of diverse immigrants that arrived in droves during the 1980s and 1990s, notably from Ethiopia, the Caucasus, and the former Soviet Union.

In recent years, the city has been flourishing with construction and renewal. New neighborhoods are being built throughout the city, following a further and wider range of necessary municipal services.
